Longstep Property Solutions was founded in 2024 by three Memphis real estate investors. We had spent years building and managing our own short-term and long-term rentals across the city, and other investors kept asking who we would recommend. Nobody fit. So we built it.

We ran our own portfolio first
For years before we ever took a client, we managed our own short-term and long-term rentals across Memphis. We built the systems, hired the team, and learned the hard lessons with our own money on the line.
Everything in-house
Our own cleaning team, laundry operation, and maintenance crew. The control shows up as faster turns, fewer markups on your statement, and work that actually gets done. Other Memphis managers even hire us for it.
Licensed on every side of the house
Two of the three founders are licensed Tennessee real estate brokers (brokerage License #266717), and the third is a licensed contractor with the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors (#78027). Brokerage, management, and the construction trades under one roof.
A low, transparent price
10% on short-term, 8% on long-term, with a 50% placement fee where most Memphis firms charge 75 to 100%. Every fee disclosed up front. Our whole philosophy is an exceptional level of service at a low, transparent cost, so our owners keep more of what they earn.

We started in short-term rentals and grew into one of the largest locally owned managers in the city. In January 2026 we brought the same in-house model to long-term property management, and that side has grown fast too. Same team, same standards, both sides of the market.
