Pet Policy

Living With Pets in Our Community.

A Pet-Friendly, Community-Friendly Policy

We love helping residents create a great home for their pets. Below you’ll find simple, clear guidelines designed with both pets and neighbors in mind.

Pet eligibility varies by property. Each listing clearly indicates whether pets are accepted.

  • One-Time Pet Fee: $150 per pet
  • Monthly Pet Rent: $30 per pet

Most common household pets are welcome in pet-friendly homes.

Approval considers the pet’s age, weight, and breed.

Restricted breeds:

  • Pit bull–type breeds
  • Doberman Pinschers
  • Rottweilers

Only approved pets or assistance animals may reside in the home.

Whether you’re applying for a pet-friendly home or adding a new pet as a current resident, all pets must be approved before living in the home.

During the application or approval process, you’ll provide:

  • Pet name
  • Breed
  • Weight
  • Age

(For current residents) The date the pet joined your household

Standard pet fees and monthly pet rent apply in pet-friendly homes once the pet is approved.

Adding a pet without notifying us is a lease violation.

Assistance animals are not considered pets, and no pet fees apply.

Requests are reviewed under HUD Fair Housing guidelines through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

Documentation typically includes:

  • A verification letter from a qualified provider showing disability-related need
  • Current vaccination/shot records
  • A photo of the animal

(We do not request medical details beyond what Fair Housing allows.)
